I was a guest at the Dillon wedding on Saturday past.We came all the way from Armagh on Friday evening to be a guest in your hotel for 2 nights.My past experience of staying in hotels was nothing more than 'functional' so what a very pleasurable experience it was to stay at the Park Hotel. It is a credit to the owner, management and staff.We were made feel most welcome and comfortable from the minute we arrived on friday evening until we left on sunday.Jerome and his team in the restaurant could not have done more to make us feel at ease and comfortable. The service was excellent. The food was piping hot and delicious. Breakfast on saturday and sunday morning was most enjoyable.Now, the meal at the reception, I have been in catering for over 25 years, and have also attended many weddings and functions, and having spoken to many guests at the wedding, we agree that was by far the best meal ever any of us had ever been served up at a function. Presentation,flavour,temperature and service were all of a very high standard.I felt the weekend was such a relaxing experience, usually when one goes to weddings it's a case of trying to slip away early, not this one. All of those who I spoke to said that they felt so relaxed and comfortable.The bedrooms were also well appointed, very clean, warm and comfortable.I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for making our stay such a nice weekend break that it turned out to be.I will recommend you to any of my friends that may be travelling in your area.Regards Malachy & Marie Mallon

Rachel & Raymond - Re: Our wedding
We refer to our wedding day which took place on 4 June 2010 and, wish to extend our sincere appreciation to all of your staff who assisted us on hosting a very special day for all of our family and friends.
Whilst we were fully aware of all of the staff in the various venues throughout the day, one person has stood out more than anyone else on the day and this is Imelda.
Not only was she courteous and sincere in her approach to the adults at our wedding but she was also genuinely interested in our nieces, nephews and cousins who were also in attendance. She went out of her way on more than one occasion to assist people who required her attention on the day and, did this in a most inconspicuous manner that there were times that we weren’t even aware of her helping our guests until someone informed us at our gathering the next day.
All of our guests were complimentary of the hotel. The food was divine in every course and the wine was free flowing and none of the guests had to lift a finger in order to gain a refill. From what we have heard, not one single person had a compliant.
We appreciate all the time, hard work and effort that went into making this day special for us and may we take this opportunity to say that we really do not think it would have been better anywhere else but the Mullingar Park Hotel. We enjoyed our day to the fullest and we hope you enjoyed making it special for us and fulfilling our dream day.
We hope to come back and stay for our coming anniversaries and hope to see you all again.
Once again, to Imelda, reception staff, bar staff, waiters, waitresses, chefs, kitchen staff, management and cleaning staff, to one and all, a sincere thank you, many blessings and best wishes. Without you all we couldn’t have had our day.
